Specter Shield Lite Workshop | Les Femmes Orange

The Specter DIY is a Bitcoin-only hardware wallet that is, of course, open source. It features a smartphone-sized touchscreen, making navigation extremely convenient. It communicates offline, transparently, with the PC using QR codes, without any contact with an internet-enabled device. Interestingly, anyone can assemble the device themselves from standard electronic components. In this workshop, we'll build the enhanced version of the DIY, the Specter Shield Lite, which features a secure chip in the form of a smart card.

Bei normalen USB-Stick großen Hardware Wallets, wie z.B. BitBox, Ledger oder Trezor lässt sich nur eine Bitcoin Seedphrase drauf verwahren. 
Beim Specter kann jedes Familienmitglied eine eigene Smartcard erhalten, die einen unabhängigen PIN Code als auch eine eigene Seedphrase erhält. Ein Hardware Wallet ermöglicht so Selbstverwahrung für die ganze Familie.

The workshop is suitable for both advanced and beginners. No prior knowledge is necessary.
