An Uncle Jim Wallet is a fully functional Bitcoin wallet with the security level of a hardware wallet, allowing you to receive and store a wide range of Bitcoins without actually owning a hardware wallet. Only initially, when creating the Uncle Jim Wallet, is a hardware wallet that doesn't store the seed phrase, like the Specter DIY, required.
What can the Uncle Jim Wallet do?
On the back, there is the Uncle Jim PDF, which is Spectre Desktop can be created. It also allows for secure and private receipt of Bitcoin without opening the security wallet.

The Uncle Jim Wallet works like a piggy bank. You can use the wallet securely until you want to spend the money. Then you can "smash" it, meaning you can tear it open and enter the seed words into a hot wallet. Then you should send the money all at once to another wallet, as this would compromise the high level of security.
Alternatively, the seed words can be entered into a purchased hardware wallet. Or you can borrow a Specter DIY for the transaction. This allows you to continue using the Uncle Jim wallet securely.
